Monumental Carved Sculpture by Uldino Desuo
Massive dynamic form, carved from a single block of cedar by Uldino Desuo, Italy 1984. sensuously formed, undulating in all directions, Desuo´s work falls into place between Alexander Noll and Henry Moore. Numerous pockets and valleys are found on all sides, the result of hundreds of hours of labour. Equally attractive and intriguing from all sides, it is difficult to assign a "front" or "back", and should be displayed free standing. Signed with carved signature Desuo 984. 38" H 28" W 18" D.
