Bent Sørensen is best known as a sculptor but started out as a painter. Around 1948 he met the group of Danish and international artists connected to the Galerie Denise René in Paris. Sorensen sculptures come in a wide range of forms and materials. This piece has a very organic pod like quality. Measurements include granite base.
